On-site Case Managers provide assistance on a walk-in basis during office hours.
Many of our students and community members rely on government benefits as they get settled in Rochester. Navigating the Social Services system can be difficult even for an English-speaking American. When you add in the language and cultural barriers experienced by resettling refugees, that difficulty increases tenfold.
Refugees Helping Refugees provides case management assistance (for making appointments, translating, interpreting, advice, making phone calls, and more) for students or community members in need of aid.
