Dear Friend of Refugees Helping Refugees (RHR),

Thank you for supporting us since our closure back in March and for making possible for us to continue our services and programs remotely.

After many long and hard months, RHR has finally decided to re-open on Thursday, September 10th!

Both students/clients and staff alike have missed the community at RHR so we are extremely excited to go back!

But this will not be an easy transition.

We need your help to get us back onsite! While we provide in-person services and programs again, we also need to ensure the safety of everyone in the building. Most of our students/clients in particular, are older in the age range and already have pre-existing medical conditions, making them at high risk in developing illnesses from COVID19.

Once we re-open, all individuals will be required to wear masks when they come into the building and have their temperature immediately checked. Each staff member and student/client will be spread at least 6 feet apart from each other in the common areas such as the kitchen, classrooms, gym, and front office. Surfaces will also be cleaned regularly, and signs and arrows will be set up to remind everyone to take caution.

Due to these new measures, we are in critical need of cleaning and hygiene supplies. These supplies include, but are not limited to thermometers, paper towels, disinfectant wipes, a HEPA vacuum, masks, hand soap, hand sanitizer, etc. Your contribution will directly go towards helping us obtain these necessary items.

To contribute, you can donate to our Facebook Fundraiser! It is on the pinned post of our Facebook page. Then share the post with your family and friends just in case they might want to help out also!

Alternatively, you can donate here on our website (rhrrroc.org/donations/donation-form)!

Any contribution is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support!

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us at rhr@rhrroc.org.

Sincerely,
Refugees Helping Refugees Staff
